SAN DIEGO · SINCE 2009

Made slowly. Made to be worn.

Da Luca began with a simple idea: make watch straps with the same attention we would want on our own watches. We still build around that idea today—thoughtful materials, practical fit and hand-finished character from our San Diego workshop.

THE WORK

Craftsmanship without the theater.

We care about the parts you feel every day: the way a strap bends around the wrist, where the keeper sits, how the edge is finished, the strength of the stitching and the way good leather changes with use.

That is why our collection spans two-piece watch straps, single-piece straps, made-to-order work and one-of-a-kind pieces. Different watches and wrists ask for different solutions.

MATERIAL MATTERS

Leather with character before we ever cut it.

01

Horween leathers

Shell Cordovan, Chromexcel, Essex and Dublin bring distinct grain, structure and aging characteristics to a finished strap.

Vintage materials

Selected vintage military and field leathers carry marks, patina and history that cannot be recreated by mass production.

Made to your watch

Odd lug widths, unusual proportions and personal fit are exactly where made-to-order work earns its place.

FIT WITHOUT GUESSING

Start with the watch. We’ll narrow the rest.

Use the Da Luca Strap Finder to identify compatible widths and styles, or move directly into a made-to-order build.

What the film shows

The film moves between the workbench, hand tools and sewing equipment. The stills above show a blade cutting leather, a hand tool working along an edge, and curled shavings beside a piece in progress. They show selected stages of leatherwork. The material, measurements and construction of each available strap are listed on its product page.
