20mm Watch Straps
Explore individually made watch straps in a true 20mm lug width, from smooth leather and Shell Cordovan to suede and vintage materials. Compare each strap’s length and thickness as well as its finish. Confirm your watch’s exact lug width before choosing.
Choosing your 20mm watch strap
Start with the measurement
20mm is the width where the strap meets the watch, not the case diameter or buckle width. Check the exact reference in the Strap Finder or measure between the lugs. A 19mm or 21mm fitting needs its own size; do not round to 20mm. Lug width alone does not establish case clearance, attachment geometry or spring-bar compatibility.
Compare the whole strap
Two straps with the same lug width can feel quite different. Check the two piece lengths, thickness, taper and buckle details on each product page. A slim strap gives a lighter profile; a fuller cut places more leather beside the case. The photographs show the individual color, stitching and surface character.
Choose by surface and use
Smooth leather keeps the emphasis on color and stitching. Shell Cordovan offers a distinct sheen, suede a softer-looking texture, and vintage leather or canvas a more irregular surface. These materials are not interchangeable in use or care. For regular water exposure, browse FKM rubber straps and confirm the exact fitting.
When a ready-made piece is not right
An individually made strap has fixed dimensions; a similar-looking piece may have a different length or thickness. If the right combination is unavailable, choose a made-to-order strap. Specify 20mm exactly, along with your preferred length and construction. Sold pieces remain useful references, with current alternatives shown where available.
